Brian Sawyer & Gregg Rossen are a screenwriting team with projects in film and television. Their feature screenplay “The Met Gala Heist” was purchased by New Line / Warner Brothers in October 2015, and their film "Northpole: Open for Christmas" starring Dermot Mulroney premiered on the Hallmark Channel to top ratings. (This followed their 2014 TV movie “Northpole” which premiered on Hallmark with 5.9 million viewers.) In 2015 they were hired by Branded Pictures to do a rewrite of the movie script for the children’s classic book “Danny and the Dinosaur”, and they were chosen for the Tracking Board 's 2015 Young & Hungry list.
In September 2015 Brian & Gregg sold their script “Tiny Christmas” to Nickelodeon, and in 2013, their holiday comedy "Pete's Christmas” starring Bailee Madison and Bruce Dern premiered on the Hallmark Channel, In 2012, they sold their sports-themed series "Home Turf" to Nickelodeon, and their TV movie “The Manny" produced by Storybox Entertainment and starring Nicollette Sheridan aired on the Hallmark Channel.
Prior to this, their racing screenplay "Diesel Debutante" was purchased by New Line Cinema, followed by the sale of their screenplay "Guida" to Revolution Studios. They are also co-creators of "A Model Family," a TV project that was picked up by 20th Century Fox as the basis for a TV series. Brian and Gregg served as consulting producers on ABC's "Pixar's 20th Anniversary Special" and they are executive producers of “PEZ: the Movie” in partnership with Envision Media Arts. They have taught and lectured around the world in film festivals and seminars from Bermuda, to Las Vegas, to Iceland. They have also lectured and taught at UCLA and Columbia College.
