Horatio Sanz is an actor and comedian best known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1998-2006. Starstruck at an early age, he honed his skills in Chicago, where he performed at various theaters, including The Court Theater and The Second City, where he was a member of their Chicago ETC theater. While in Chicago, Sanz was also one of the founding members of the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) sketch comedy and improv troupe. Sanz joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in September 1998.
After 8 seasons as part of some of SNL’s most iconic and memorable sketches, Sanz has worked on over 60 Film and Television productions, appeared as a guest on talk shows including Late Night w/Jimmy Fallon, re-appeared as special guest several times on SNL, created and hosts his widely popular podcast, and co-created (with Fred Armisen) Mas Mejor digital studio; highlighting Latino Comedy for Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video productions.
