Lak Rana

Lak Rana is an actor/writer.  He started acting and working with the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West over 11 years ago.  

During that time, he also studied sketch writing/performing, and improv at various places around Los Angeles, including Groundlings, Second City, UCB, and iO West (where he could be seen weekly on the Main Stage).  Lak also pushed the limits of his physical comedy skills by experimenting with clown work and performing standup.

He has written, directed, produced, and starred in award winning short films and sketches that have been featured on Funny or Die and film festivals across the country.

Lak has also had the privilege to work on many national commercials and T.V. shows such as Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, CSI: Miami, CSI: Cyber, Medium, Fear the Walking Dead, and others.  He currently has a recurring role as Dr. Rashi on the daytime soap, General Hospital.

Before pursuing acting, Lak earned a B.A. in Business from UCLA and an MBA from USC.
