Sean Barnes began began acting on stage at age 13, in film at seventeen, and studied Drama at SFSU. He moved to Los Angeles in 1990, where he studied at Playhouse West. During this time, Sean made his living acting roles in TV, film and commercials and worked with renowned actors and directors. Sean taught at Playhouse West from 1995 through 2006. He co-taught several classes with Jeff Goldblum, trained with founder Robert Carnegie and worked with the many talents coming out of that school at the time. Sean eventually taught thirteen classes a week and gained charge of his own studio (Studio 3) at the Playhouse.

From 2007 to 2014 Sean has coached private clients, taught On Camera programs at The Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica, and lectured at Columbia College, and international film festivals around the world from Vegas to Iceland. He has produced extremely successful short films on the web and directed several L.A. premier theatrical productions to rave reviews.
