Vince Jolivette


A native of Hamilton, Ohio, Vince Jolivette graduated from Ohio University in 1995. Shortly there after, he came out to California with the intention of becoming an actor. He attended Play House West where he met future business partner James Franco. In 2003, Vince teamed with actor James Franco to form Rabbit Bandini Productions, a production company focused on creating groundbreaking narrative, documentary and multimedia content. 

Recent projects include Harmony Konrine’s SPRING BREAKERS, LOVELACE, starring Amanda Seyfried, THE ICEMAN, starring Michael Shannon, and the Saturday Night Live behind the scenes documentary, SATURDAY NIGHT.

In August 2013 production was completed on AS I LAY DYING, directed and starring James Franco, based on the novel by William Faulkner. AS I LAY DYING premiered at the 2013 Cannes International Film Festival to rave reviews. Vince was a Producer on both CHILD OF GOD, which was an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s acclaimed book by the same name and PALO ALTO directed by Gia Coppola, which was drawn from James Franco’s book Palo Alto Stories. CHILD OF GOD and PALO ALTOboth had their International premiere at the 2013 Venice International Film Festival and their North American premiere at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival. CHILD OF GODalso had its National Premiere at the 2013 New York Film Festival.

Some other projects Vince has produced, that are in post-production are TAR based on a series of poems by C.K. Williams and BUKOWSKI based on the early life of author Charles Bukowski. 

Currently in production is ZEROVILLE, which should complete filming in early 2015.
